A New Year For All of Us...

First off, we wanted to specifically thank you for your response to Garden Window. The last few months of it's release have been so great and that's only because of your support and love. If you picked up any version of the record, streamed it, downloaded it, or told even one other person about what we have been doing, thank you. We can't wait to play these songs for you this year. We have a lot of awesome things planned.

One of those things is our very first co-headline tour with an amazing band from Boston, MA called Junius. Check them out and come to one of the 20 shows we will be doing with them all over the US. Dates are below. We will both be playing extended sets and there is new merch to get your hands on.

Lastly, you may notice when you see us on this tour that we look a little different than we did last time we came around. Unfortunately, our guitarist/auxiliary percussionist, Aaron Wamack, will no longer be playing with O' brother. This decision was incredibly difficult to make but we feel that it is best for all of us. Aaron is one of our most talented friends and we know that he will continue to make beautiful music and art. Our good friend Kyle Coleman will be stepping in for this tour so come out and say hello. We will definitely not be slowing down in the slightest.

We love you all and cannot wait to head bang as a family.

Love,
Michael, Anton, Johnny, and Tanner

VERY SAD to hear the Aaron news. VERY SAD. Has he left the band for good? Is he just not touring? WHAT IS HAPPENING?

It's funny that you talk about 'head banging as a family' in the same post you announce Aaron isn't in the band anymore. Seems like families don't kick people out of families unless they're horrible families.

bands who lose members lose fans. fact. love you guys but fact. should have made it work.

Way too much negative energy on here, seriously. Speaking for personal experience there are many different reasons why members leave bands, not all bad. Whatever the case may be with O'brother, one of my favorite bands, I'm sure great music will continue to be made. And as for Aaron, I wish him the best of luck for whatever he may be doing.

Good luck with the tour fellas! I'm excited to see what will become of the new video shoot!

aaron didn't leave the band. i don't know what to say to people who think saying that is negative, except that they're being really selfish. being in a band isn't about selfishness, and bands that think that are just horrible bands. that's not negativity. that's human nature.

aaron would never have 'left' the band. if the band or its fans somehow forgot that.

My thoughts are that Aaron probably just wanted to be a drummer..that's just what I heard COULD BE WRONG! But ehh they're still the shit with or without. The people who call themselves true fans and then criticize for one little thing..you were never a true fan.Peace.
