Thanks Australia!
Greetings everyone! We just wanted to give you guys an update since it's been a hot minute. We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to spend a couple weeks in Australia in February for Soundwave Festival. We just wanted to thank everyone that caught our sets while we were over there. We never thought that we would ever play shows in Australia and the fact that we did and with people there excited to see us really blows our collective mind. We also got to meet and make new friends with some awesome dudes in awesome bands while we were there. So check out our new friends in Cancer Bats, The Wonder Years, Polar Bear Club, Shai Hulud, Gallows, Fucked up, and Living With Lions.
Of course, we documented our whole excursion while we were in the land down under and we will be starting a mini webisode series called "O'brother Does Australia" Here's the first one...
Keep checking back every week as we will continue to post more Australia videos as well as new tour dates.
Thank you for still caring about our band. Until next week!

Violent Waves
Hey everyone! We've been back from the Violent Waves tour for about a week now and are still in awe of how fast it flew by. Generally, a full US 6 week run can drag on and feel like it's never going to end. Don't get me wrong, there were times where I really missed home, friends, family, being amongst my favorite season at home, and the list goes on... but overall, it ended too quickly and we miss every single person on the tour.
First of all, we'd like to thank Circa Survive and their crew for taking us out and allowing us to open the show every night. We had the privilege of doing a few shows with them two years ago (Summer of 2010, Circa Survive, The Dear Hunter, O'Brother) and both bands knew it wouldn't be the last time we'd tour together. In good timing, the stars aligned and they asked us to be a part of this special tour. Without a doubt, we were on board. When we saw that Touché Amoré and Balance and Composure were also on the line up, it was a huge plus. We've kept in contact with the Balance guys for a few years now, first talking of touring together through myspace messaging. We've also been friends and fans of Touché for a while so we were more than stoked to share the stage with them. We had a few special opportunities to perform "Cleanse Me" live with Jeremy Bolm (TA) and each time was unforgettable. I thoroughly enjoyed watching each band every night. More so, I thoroughly enjoyed everyone's company on and off stage. Our friend, Dave Summers, was able to hop on the tail end of the tour and take photos. Dave is a very talented photographer, on top of that, one of our favorite dudes to be around. Check out his photos from the Violent Waves Tour here.
We are grateful to have met and talked to so many people every night after the shows. Your words are encouraging and your open ears to the music that we create mean the world to the five of us. Thank you for coming up to us. If you bought a record or a t-shirt, we're sincerely grateful. The fact that you would come up to us at all and tell us you appreciate what we do goes even further.
Many of you have been wondering when "Basement Window" vinyl will be released. Triple Crown is based in the NYC area which was hit
hard by the storm last week, things are SLOWLY getting back to normal. "Basement Window" is due to start shipping the middle of this week. For now, you are able to listen to the record on iTunes, and Spotify.
This month, we will be playing the annual "The Stuffing" with some really amazing bands, people we consider family. This will take place in Atlanta at Center Stage the day before Thanksgiving. Buy tickets here, it will sell out fast!
Last but not least, we are more than excited to do a Triple Crown Records run with our label mates Moving Mountains and Caspian. Line up will vary each night.

'Basement Window' now out digitally!
Today we released an EP entitled 'Basement Window'. This EP consists of 5 songs from 'Garden Window' that were stripped down and flipped on their bellies. It was a challenging and rewarding experience deconstructing things and doing something that we don't usually do.
The EP was engineered and mixed in our basement by our drummer, Michael Martens. We're incredibly proud of the final product and the hard work that went into making it.
Within the next few days we will be announcing vinyl pre-order, which will ship in late October. The vinyl is a limited edition piece with music on one side and the art etched in on the other side. More info on that will come very very soon. Pre-orders will include a digital download. Track listing for the vinyl below.
1. Lo
2. Machines Pt. I
3. Lay Down
4. Malum
5. Poisoin! (digital only)
